It has finally happened!
The anachronism that is Sepp Blatter has finally done it.
He has stepped down as head of FIFA, and while the news is breaking now, I am going to hypothesize that it is because of Jerome Valcke implication, or blatant description in a new 10 million dollar scandal.
We will be following this story closely, but as we update this feed, think for a minute what this means for FIFA and world football. This is the perfect place for football to start all over with a wholly new PR campaign dedicated to cleaning up the mess left behind by the 79 year old Swiss. Additionally, this opens the door for Prince Ali bin Ali Hussein and Luis Figo to advertise the benefits of youth and how they can change the face of Football.
